Landscape photography is a whole different thing than wildlife photography.

Wildlife photography is about knowing something about the behaviour and habitat of the animals you're interested, and then being ready with your equipment and settings because most animals don't cooperate for long.  There's also an element of getting lucky and being in the right place at the right time.

Landscape photography is about planning, predicting the right light, watching the weather and carefully composing your photos.  You can see how much of a difference this makes if you look below at a few that were taken at the same place on different days.  When the weather and light are great, you get a pretty nice photo, but it can look pretty flat and boring if they're not.  I left the bad ones in mostly to show how true this is.

I've gotten quite a bit lazier about putting all the camera shooting information in the description of each photo.  It's quite a bit of work, and I'm  not sure that a lot people will care.  If you are interested, leave a comment or send me a note.  I could be convinced that it's worth my time to keep it up.
